Schedule!!!

Ok, Lily's schedule for the next two months is packed with National Animal Assisted Crisis Response get togethers....ok Lily it is going to be bath time many times through out this time...I need to check my calendar for her calendar....I think she needs a social secretary....but it will be so much fun to talk about what we (Emma & Lily) do when we are volunteering for this great organization...as I said in an earlier post...I wish this was something I could do none stop...maybe someday...right now the girls are outside playing again in the snow...just stopped at Uncle Casey's for some more meds for them....well the wash is sitting in the dryer waiting for me and the wash in the washer ....did someone say that I was a maid also...this is also something I would like when I retire...hugs to all my friends...and have a great day...the sun is trying to shine here in Michigan and I hope it will really make it out and melt all of this ugly white stuff....char and the girls

Snow!!!

Ok, take fresh white snow mix it with two black newfies and what do you get....a lot of little snow balls on black fur.....and a great play in the snow...of course they do not travel to far to play...one lays down and the other will stand and bark then they do a switch and vice versa....sometimes I just need stand watch and laugh....and think whoa..instant bath...only in my dreams...oh well..they have fun playing as I am shoveling and I think yes these are working dogs...put a shovel on their tail....ha ha....right...then I am done and am admiring my work and the snow plow goes by....yikes....ok now I am Praying for 70 degree weather to melt the snow....make my yard green....grow no weeds....and have all my flowers bloom....once again one can dream...and I am rambling....AACR has teams in West Virginia and Huntsville, Alabama right now and I only wish that Lily and I could have been part of that.....someday...maybe if I buy a lottery ticket and I pick the winner lol.....what can I say....I would love to do that full time...not worry about paying for the house, utilities, taxes, car and food....and insurance would be included for me and the girls....yes once again I am dreaming...but if anyone has the answer let me know....take care my friends from Char and the girls who are waiting for their nightly frosty paws.....p.s. emma is still doing well....Praise God for her meds and for being at her side.....love ya

The Girls

Emma is doing so well....her meds have kicked in and with the help of acupuncture what a blessing....to think that a few weeks ago I thought I was going to lose her....she loves her pig ears and yes whatever the girl wants she continues to get....and yet she is still on her diet....lily is doing great...I love to see them in the snow and the sun...thank goodness for the sun...this past weekend was the two year anniversary of NIU...many memories of the days we were there in 2008....all I have to do is look at my living room wall and I see the rose and the ribbon from NIU....I am sad that we were unable to go last year or this...but this too will past....Lily is going to be and I should say is a great therapy dog....this is one thing that I wish I could do "full time" but then who would pay the bills...a dog treat does not pay for a house or car :)  again I wish to thank all of my friends that I have met in the past and am thanking all that I will meet in the future....I know I am rambling but I do that when I think and talk about my girls.....and I know that usually only dog people understand this rambling...well I best get back to work dishes laundry cleaning oh my....too bad I can't just snap my fingers and it all gets done by itself....take care my friends and hugs to all of my dog buddies....from char and her girls

Emma

Emma had a rough start of the day....but then as the day is going she is moving better....and people wonder where my grey hair comes from.....I need to stock up on my pig ears in case the snow does come....can't wait for spring....and maybe it will stay for  a long while.....trying to get cards printed...I never knew there were so many different ways of doing that....oh I wish I was computer literate....the sun shining and my girls are near and I am happy....
